anyone know where it is located on here i cant find it im trying to find the one with pics the one where you stick a bolt in the line but i cant find the picture of wht line in the engine bay and dont wanna screw up lol

 

ive heard it was a bad idea and proven to mess stuff up( not experiance but just what ive heard)

 

not recommended anymore. Isn't good on the engine and has no real peformance advantage.

i had it done on the m62 and the tvs never had a problem

it is releasing boost the entire time you aren't in boost. it is why blow off valve have no effect on roots type blowers. all you will hear around town and while cruising on the highway is boost releasing. Not all that appeasing.

 

boost bypass wont hurt anything ive been running it for a few months now it will allow the blower to boost a little quicker and you may get up to 1lb more boost

 

im running it... but my bbv is broken and im replacing it lol

 

guys its a joke just really bored im trying to stay out of the im angry MOD thread right now

 

its all fun until your shyt goes kaboooooom! i did it only to test something on my car, you fell a difference but its not worth a new motor. some have ran it 30k + miles others 10k or less and pop! i think it all depends on the climate and car mods.......
my advice DONT DO IT! just get more aftermarket parts.

My cobalt has 130,000 miles on it an runs strong an like it should with the mods it has... My boost bypass is bad an since people are back and forth on getting rid of it where would i go to get a aftermarket one so i dont have to pay $140 for a new one.
