Jezzus... $250 for a coil around a tube? $330 for another coil in a bucket?

Here is a distributor website if you think it's worth it...

Yes. This can go any where in the system for the turbo guys (before turbo, before inter cooler, after inter cooler). But for the SC'd guys, they can only put it before the SC, and pre-cool the air.

At the track it would be beneficial to cool down your intake temps.... however for the cost, there are far better solutions out there.
This isn't really a 'daily driver' mod, as you'd be going though CO2 like crazy!

Yah but there is no room on our SC cars for and air-to-air intercooler. Unless someone did a lot of custom piping and had some sort of top-mounted setup. That would be sweeeet.

Well I'm assuming you have an LSJ with a supercharger since thats the section we are in, you should just get a bette air-to-water intercooler. (heat exchanger)

We're not talking about the air to air intecooler... we mean the ice tube.

Oh my bad... But yah thats expensive.

It would be much cheaper to do an icebox or something. You could get a cheap fuel cell and fill it with ice and have the i/c flow through the icebox for track days.
