I just put one on my Injen CAI.

Here is a heads up for you.

The diameter of the hole on the AEM is wider than the Injen filter so make sure you tighten it big time.

i bought one of these for my car about 6 months ago and for a "fits in airbox" dropin the 3.25 outlet 5.00 length is the right unit.

not sure what youd put on an injen...

I don't know if they have different inlets or not. I bought mine off a member here.

The inlet I think was 3" but the Injen is 2.5", something like that. The AEM was bigger either way.

I just tightened the snot out of it and haven't had any problems.

But i heard from numerous ppl here that they are having just as much or more problems with the AEM than the injen. Like the newest version of injen seem to be preatty much trouble free for the most part!?!

I don't know how that could be. The AEM is fool proof because there is no oiling. The reason people throw cells is because oil gets on the MAF, you can't do that with the AEM because there is no oil. The only thing I can think of is that people don't have the latest flash from GM which supposedly fixes all the cells that a CAI may cause.

OK OK and because when my warranty is up...I am going full tilt and you need your stock air box supposedly so...it's cheaper and better "for me" in the long run.

I have yet to see a single AEM dryflow filter cause a CEL.
simply because the cel people experience with other systems is due to the oil getting on the MAF sensor. no oil = no cel.
