Just bought a brand new inseptor guage from ottp every things works and looks good except the oil pressure is not right becuse it shows 25566 for oil pressureand it never changes from idle to wot any body know what could be wrong ??

 

The interceptor doesn't support oil pressure for our cars... So it isn't measuring it

 

welll damm i was really hoping it would do u have to buy an accessory kit to get it to work or what

well got another quick question which one do i use to montior knock the inceptor lists knock 1 knock 2 and knock 3 so what onr do u use to montior proper knock

 

Don't think it monitors knock either... Essentially there not very good tools for what they cost

They're excellent tools.

and the knock sensor is in there, and it works. You shouldn't have ANY and you want to keep an eye on your misfires as well.

Interceptors when used correctly are phenomenal gauges.

 

so which knock do u use cuz they list 3 i herd u only watch the 3rd one but not sure and i no what knock is but what causes it

 

knock is pretty much detonation. It's bad. you don't want it.

If you're stock, it knocks anyways. If you're not, have your tuner explain it to you, and what to watch for.

 

I guess I just don't have any knock cause it never moves from zero... Good to know

 

ok well im stock expect for my k & n and i dont have and knock but i do have some missfires so what does that mean ??

 

i love my interceptor. i used knock 3. aslo on misfires the most i have ever seen on my is 14. it is usualy at 0 or 2. not sure if thats good or not tho.

 

yeah that's all mine reads and i like mine to but i wish it read oil pressure, so looks like im going to have to buy the acc sensor kit
