Shorter Belt
so you do have the new pulley already on? if so your in decent shape, it doesnt take more than 5 min to swap belts, smaller your hands the better to reach the crank
notice how the original belt loops around the pulleys, use a screw driver to lift the belt off the pulley and a wrench to push down on the pulley tensioner -its the pulley located right behind the supercharger pulley. that give sthe belt some slack and you can pull it right off. for the new belt, make sure you have enough light to see whats going on, and start with the engine crank (back bottom pulley). since the belt has to go under that huge engine mount thats in the way off all this, you could always take that off but be careful with a jack to hold everything in place. once on the crank and loops back under that engine mount, wrap it back up to the supercharger pulley -noting how it was before. using the same technique to take off the belt, push back on the tensioner (it makes that small pulley lower down) wrap it on it and let go.. its really easy and thats coming from me
