Smile Should I Go With A 2.5" Pulley ?

So I'm looking to max out my m62 before upgrading to a better setup... I was thinking about going down from a 2.7" to a 2.5 " pulley, I know that i will have to shave down the snout for it and all that good stuff.I'm planning to set my redline to 6500 rpms to prevent extreme overspinning of the supercharger and retune offcourse. However I have some concerns that I couldnt get a straight answer for while searching, and I would like to hear from people who actually had it !

* Did you have to upgrade the tensioner for belt slip, or was there at all with the stage 2 belt ?

* And how bad were the iat2 ?

* Am I going to run outta fuel ? " Im on 93 Fuel "

I'd love to have more lower end torque, the increased power from a 2.8 to a 2.7 was very noticable so im hoping to get more torque out of this setup !

for what it matters my mods are :

60's
Injen CAI
Dual Pass W/Option B & ZZP S3 HE " Distilled water for better cooling "
Methanol Injection 3gph (100 % Distilled water for summer)
Shorty Header W/ ZZP 3 "Downpipe
Dual GMPP Touring Exhaust

I just asked the same thing with a 2.6" a little bit ago. Some of the best LSJ guys answered which was awesome. Hope this helps a little.

I ran a 2.5" for 2 years.

Depends on what you want out of the car really.

Do you want to constantly beat on it? Than the pulley is not for you.

With the right setup this pulley can do well, but it is not for everyone.
