Simple, cheap, and under warranty..

Just got a Balt with 1700 miles on it and a Stage 2. Its sweet, and probably too fast for me already, but what are some cheap easy upgrades that you guys would suggest, that won't void the warranty?

I was thinking about the tranny mount, but I am pretty out of my element with mods. I am used to driving around in my 91 mazda protege sedan. lol.

Any advice for a poor man looking to make his sweet balt even sweeter..

Thanks!

Either tranny mounts, strut bar, ar engine dampner, or if u feel like spending a little bit more go for the gmpp intake

I'd go for the GMPP exhaust (touring is me preference) or the exhaust manifold if you are dead on keeping your warranty. An engals torque damper is a good upgrade I hear, and if you do an intake right, then you probably wont void any warranty. (that depends on the dealer I think)

get the AEM intake, they won't even notice the thing unless they pull the wheel and splash guard off. You will hear your blower like never before.

I really wish you people wouldn't rely so heavily on this whole warranty thing. The facts of the matter are this:

Your clutch will not be covered under warranty.
Your axles will not be covered under warranty.
A hole in one of your pistons will not be covered under warranty.
Your piston rings are not covered under warranty.
The differential in your transmission will not be covered under warranty.

Those are the things we are all breaking. Whether GMPP or not if you break or damage one of those parts on your car GM will laugh at the metion of warranty. Those parts breaking are generally lumped into the driven too aggressively category. If you want to make more power out of the car, aftermarket parts always do that better than manuafacturer supllied parts and usually cost less. You bought a car that was made to be modded, heavily. If you break it, deal with it. This is what having a car and modding it is all about.

Doesn't mean anything. 3/36 or 5/100...you break those items you are buying the replacements. The copout is ABUSE.
