Stock = 4 passes through the manifold, coolant enters in one nipple on the stock endplate, makes 4 passes back and forth through the manifold, then exits through the 2nd nipple on the stock endplate.

Dual Pass = Only 2 passes through the manifold, coolant enters through both the stock nipples on the stock enplate, makes only 2 passes through the manifold, then exits through a 3rd niple drilled into the center of the stock endplate.

Single Pass = 1 pass through the manifold, coolant enters through an aftermarket enplate on the passenger side of the manifold, makes 1 pass through the manifold, and exits through the stock enplate nipples on the driver's side.

FYI, $400 dollars is a very good price for a single pass manifold.

hmmm wonder what kind of flow rates they saw (increase/same/decrease) and overall performance gained. If significant enough this could allow us to push the tvs/m62 harder and without temp issues

i am still wondering if for the time and money if the dual pass end plate + option b is worth it. i can get the end plate for $120 shipped and the option b for like $120. so that's $250 in the hole + half a day or more installing it. Gains?!?! worth it or no?

This is the best cooling with the stock Intake manifold for a decent price if I was supercharged I'd hop all over this.

might be worth it if you had a pump that could keep up with the required flow rate, i doubt the stock one could keep the pressure up high enough to keep the top cores filled with coolant.

I am really interested to see how they did this as it should require a new/modified intake manifold.

The stock pump is perfectly fine as far as flow rate. I actually had to reduce the flow since the single pass gets rid of restriction and I needed to slow the coolant down a tad to help the exchange of heat in the manifold.

Some of you guys just spout **** out that gets others worried for no reason. It'd be better to do some research before talking. I haven't seen anything new pop up in a long time that hasn't already been answered on this forum.

Don't take that the wrong way.

I was actually just trying to figure out how to do this last month. I deemed that it was possible, so I'm interested to see how similar this will be to what I thought up.

I just installed the dual pass, option B and front mount H/E. Definately worth the money IMO. Other things to cool the intake charge but this doesn't require any tuning. IAT temps recover quickly.
