Question Smallest pulley on canned tune?

Hey guys,

I've been searching around the forums and have been having difficulties coming to a conclusion about ZZP's stage 2. So basically I just have an intake right now, no exhaust, no cooling mods. What is the lowest pulley I can run and what size injectors would I need. Please also note that I will only be using the canned tune. This is because there is nobody near me who can tune unfortunately.

Would I be safe running say a 2.9 pulley, (not sure what injectors, they say 50lb but I am only seeing options for the 42lb or 60lb injectors?), smaller belt, and then using the ZZP flashed PCM?

I know ZZP only recommends the 3.1 pulley without exhaust or cooling mods but from what I have seen it seems some people are running lower pulley sizes without exhaust or cooling mods.

Just looking for some insight,

Thanks guys.

Get a duel pass while ur at it u have to pull the sc off to change the pulley so it dosnt take much more to pull the intake mani off to put the duel pass end plate on.
With that i don't see y a 2.9 wouldnt work.
Also u can run 42s but they don't leave much room for more mods in the future.
If the zzp s2 kit is all u plan to do then i would recommend the 42s. If u plan to continue to mod the car with cams, p&p head ext. I would recommend the 60s.

Thanks for the responses.

So just to conclude, I would be safe running a 2.9 pulley, smaller belt, ZZP flashed PCM, 42lb injectors, and a duel pass endplate all without an exhaust and using the canned tune? I will definitely look for a place to get a custom tune. This car is my daily driver so I want to keep it pretty conservative.

Also, I am seeing people with stage 2 having around 250 hp at the wheels, is that with a custom tune or just the canned tune? What should I be expecting power wise and estimated 1/4 mile times?

Thanks!

I think your gonna max out those 42 pound injectors with that 2.9 and if ur gonna get a tune..at least get a dyno tune to maxaminze the potienitoal of ur 2.9
