Not a bad idea. Only way that would give you a false "safe" is if the filter was clogged.

meth gets REALLY complicated when you get into it for fueling purposes, like crazy.

Not really more complicated. Just if it quits you have a few seconds to catch it or you're doing a motor rebuild. So it's best to take as many precautions as possible to help.

just saying, i've read a couple of in depth articles about it and the difference between using meth as a simple cooling mod vs. a fueling source it gets complicated quick (for a simpleton like myself anyway) like the placement of nozzles, lines going to the nozzles, pressure, angle of spray and spray pattern etc it has to be set up perfectly. so yea much riskier.

anyway i'm just throwing it out there lol

Riceburner, there are a lot of things that make on/off and boost based systems not the best for most vehicles. I'm working with aquamist to overcome the tuning part.

Yea this thread ended a while ago but i saved up a little money and brought the car payment way down on the cobalt so i can finally get meth but i was looking at the devils stage one kit Universal Stage 1 : Methanol Injection Kits : DevilsOwn Alcohol Injection and is that piece up top and the middle like a pressure switch? i see it says 6,15,30 so that goes on my vacuum/ boost hose and say i put it at 6 so that means the meth starts at 6 pounds of boost? im asking cause the other kits dont have that wierd looking part they all have them fancy computer things. My other question was for that pressure switch http://http://www.alcoholinjectionsy...duct_info.html i put that in between my pump and where it injects into the throttle body?

black and yellow, the part you mention in the frist link and the second link do the same thing. Why are you mentioning the second one going between the pump and the injector? Are you wanting to use it as a failsafe?

Compare and contrast the alcohol injection systems kit vs the competitors

Quality and what you get; it's also marked down under retail with free shipping

Both of the parts you described do the same thing. You can set up a light that will kick on when the pump activates, you can put either of the hobb's switches after the pump if you are running a check valve and wire up a light, or after the solenoid if you choose to run one of them. You can also buy a progressive controller that comes with flow detection, from a few vendors.
