Thrown rod is catastrophic, doubt he would have been able to drive a week on it. Spun bearing is going to make a lot of noise, but not push oil. I'm going with broken piston!

They can handle power just fine if fueled and cooled properly

Ill take up for Intense on my tune. It was a good canned tune. Really didnt need a dyno tune after it.

Looking at when you joined I imagine we probably got our tunes around the same time. I can honestly say my intense tune was pretty good for a canned tune. Yeah I raced my car it's been a long while though, I've probably raced 5 times in the past year. I'm not blaming my motor being blown on anything. Ever since I first got my car I figured it was only a matter or time, I never felt these pistons would hold up worth a ****. Once I get my car back I'm going to put my 3 inch back on, get a heat exchanger, and get it dyno tuned if I have the money.

But first you are getting a Front mount H/E and a dual pass Option B right?

My original thought was that he could be running the 2.5 and the 42s I just figured he had a boost controller on. I figured that would be good to get that sucker to like 17psi or whatever real quick!

well... I'm not going to build the motor anymore. Last night I decided I'm just going to swap a used short block or motor into the car and trade it in. I can not wait to get rid of this piece of **** (for all who try and say it's not, you do not know the amount of time my car has been in the shop for warranty work)

You must have just gotten one of the problem cars. They happen with everything, my friend works at a chevy dealership, and said the same 2007 Corvette has been in for warrenty work like once or twice a month for the last several months, for stupid stuff, like radio doesn't work, check engine light keeps coming on, abs light is one, ect. The car is stock too!

just look at Phil (darksun) he had $23,000 in warranty work done to his car in the span of 2 years. My car has been fine... others around here have had issues too... I guess some people just lucked out and got a car built midweek and not on a Friday lol

We disconnected my injectors and started cranking it and you can hear a strange noise. The foreman says I have a cracked piston. The crazy thing about it is I haven't raced anyone in probably six months and out the middle of nowhere this happens. I'm bringing it to the shop Wednesday when I will hopefully find out the extent of the damage. I just replaced the clutch a few months ago so I'm tossing around the idea of building my car for nitrous.
is the noise like a ticking or rattling sound on the left side of the motor? because mine made a sound like that when i fucked up my pistons.

Price? I need to pull the motor apart and see exactly what is wrong before I know exactly what I need?

I dunno I guess $250 shipped should be fair.
just hit me up and let me know man. I'm not re-using the stock parts at all in the new motor, so they're just sitting up at C/A collecting dust lol
