please help me find out what is going on... my car was fine untill last night when i was driving down the free way and i went to merg and i noticed that i was hitting 15psi so i let off and tryed it again and it hit 20psi what the heck is going on
the car is all stock no pullie no ecu mods not even a cold air intake or exhaust.

i checked the code and it popped up

i think and the check engine light comes on for a few then turns off. the car shuts down after 15 psi i need help! asap! thanks

I aready replaced the blower pressure sincer on the top of the eaton so i dont think that is it. the car lot did that for me. cause when i got the car if you jumped on it hard it would power down.

yep, its causing restriction which is why you are seeing higher boost levels!

the car only has 47k on it. i think i might jsut do the ott stage 2 and intercooler and jsut remove the cat.

 

yes do that..i have ott stage 1 i was also hitting 15 psi on stock pully but it was also 9 degrees at the time... i installed ott stage1 and hit 20 psi...i then bought the v2 header for 189 and used the stcok downpipe and cut off the cat and put a hks dragger muffler on...i hit 17.8 psi know and cant keep traction in 1,2 and part of 3 gear

 

my cat was replaced twice within 70K km!

 

I've seen cats explode on stock cars under 10,000 miles even.

yea i cut it off a cleaned it out. and put on a mangaflow muffler and did the air box mod. i like it now it stays about 12psi and sounds like a pissed off chainsaw
