solid engine + trans mounts

Installed the solid engine mount from TTR and the prothane tranny bushings. the vibrations are pretty bad. Those who have these, i've been told that these get broken in or worked in within a week and the vibrations are not so bad...is this true? any input is helpful!

the vibes will diminish with driving time. I've had mine for about a month and they are already starting to smooth out.

It will get better with time. You also start to get used to it and they become less noticed. Enjoy the added control you have, ignore the vibes. Besides, I've had a chick tell me that she liked it, so its all good.

chicks aside my mods so far use a stock rear mount relocated and a new relocated front mount 0 power hop and not much vibration. my next change will be to change the front mount to reduce the vibration still further...so its true the root cause of wheel hop is not cured by stiffer mounts, but by relocating the motor to change the poor axle shaft alignment angle... stay tuned if you are interested by PM ing me the vibration never gets better its a PITA but some folks get used to it. Me, i never got used to the dentist so this hard mount vibration is no good for me thats why i am fixing it....i will have another forum member test a set to get independent feedback and then post results...
