solid motor mount

ok so mods are in sig, im pushing too much power for a fwd car to handle and its really annoying. I want as much traction as possible and dont care about vibrations. With that in mind should I go solid motor mount or poly filled motor mount? Will it make that much of a difference? Remember every little bit helps! Thanks guys.

I personally would go with the following.

1. TTR Tranny mounts
2. TTR Solid Motor Mount
3. Limiting the boost in 1st gear to *Whatever you feel comfortable with*

The reason people limit the boost is not only to stop wheel hop, but to save there axles. This will eliminate wheel hop completely.

I am using JUST a ingalls torque dampener and my 1st gear boost is limited to I believe 40%. I am still tweaking my tune and my boost ratio's though. Every gear after 1st should be 100% unless you are spraying in 2nd gear, which then you can limit the boost slightly to have traction throughout 2nd and into 3rd. You should be trapping in 3rd gear.

It is very hard to poly fill the stock mount, and have it "stay in there" You can do it, however there is a good chance it will fall out.

Fully agreed with this guy. I have the tranny and motor mounts. Vibrations aren't that bad now that it has worn in and it drives a hell of a lot better than stock.
