tried that, like measuring therm compared to the one that came out its too big to go in, like i want as far as to cut the lip off one side so it could go in, i used a pipe on the vise and still wouldnt go in

Post a picture of the bushing you received... Not sure where you ordered it from, but we will verify you have the right looking ones... Part number on the prothane box should say "7-516", unless Prothane boxed the wrong bushings???

Bah, hate those prothane mounts. Anything better than stock, though.

We need a side shot of the bushings.

Who sold you these? They should have sent you 7-516...

You will NEVER get in the 7-517's in your mounts....

fact is there are different inside diameters of lower mounts for Redline and Cobalt depending on production dates. Hard to deal with on an ongoing basis and more prevalent the past two years; good luck.

measure the inside diameter of the mount you are installing into, and tell OTTP. They can send you the correct one for your car. What is the year and model of your car? that will help, and which mount front or rear you are changing.

Yes correct.

You 100% without a doubt have a 7-517, which is for the 2.2/2.4L manual trans....

You need the 7-516 kit for the 2.0L LSJ trans.

Says in his sig he has a 2006 SS/SC which means 7-516 not the ones he has...

Exactly. I am sure OTTP will send a pre paid shipping label to take these back, and send you the right ones...
