some more fun stuff.

there is a shift light. it comes on at 7700 rpms.

on a street tune.

11.5 afr
20 degree's of timing. nothing super radical.

stage 2 pulley.

274 whp
245 wtrq

yes i know i have put down more power and torque with a 2.7 pulley, but ya know. im full blown impressed with this and will most likely leave it for a bit.

the thing that hert's the most is the blower when going that high rpm wise.. over spinning it. but it would be a safe guess that he has spring's and retainer's..

Correct. Only thing limiting the engine from revving higher is the valvetrain and the balance shafts.

Like to see your power/torque graphs...

I will go the same tuning route with medium pulley + higher revs, as my car only weighs 845 kg.. I don't need huge amounts of torque. What 272 cams did you use?

I too am curious about how much fuel your using. What kind of mileage are you getting if you drive like a sane individual, which I have heard you claim to do! LOL.
Good work on the tune and numbers.

Well, this really makes my goal of 400 crank hp (332 whp) on pump gas and a 2.9" reachable

im averaging 29 mpg in the city right now.

with the 272 cams there is a point where going too small of pulley will actually hurt more than help. the useful air is going out of the exhaust.

as for the graph, i will get that as soon as i get back to the shop. it was 3:30 am when i pulled it off the rollers.

the cams are from flowtechnicsonline. they are lsj core base regrinds.

vids? i have an idle vid somewhere. you really can't tell it has cams in it. timing does wonders on hiding the sound. the trained ear can hear them. most people don't even know it's cammed.

shouldn't be a problem actually.
