Man, why would you want to hide the cams though!?!? Geesh man. My friend has a GTO (410 rwhp), with a nice cam and a set of heads. He usually has that thing loping like crazy, but I saw his date tune (calm idle without obnoxious lope and vibration), and it idled like stock. Eff that mang. Mine will lope enough and vibrate wildly enough to give a girl and orgasm!!!

because im sneaky like that?

it really just came with part of the tune itself. plus fuel control. i can lean it out and make it very apparent that the cams are there.

if someone was looking to do smaller than a 2.8 pulley. id highly suggest either a cam gear on the exhaust side, or having a smaller cam cut. if you don't you'er just pissing away useable pressure

zero down time. you have to send in some cores.

i paied 207 for the cores.
375 for the regrinds.
50 bucks in shipping.

72 hours of endless tuning to get coastdown and idle to stabilize, and to hide the cams

And believe me... he did! When he first got them back his idle was outt'a ******* control! But now unless you have a good ear and know what you are looking for you wouldn't notice them!

Thats why I got adjustible cam gears. For the pump gas tune with a 2.9" I'll prolly run them as is (110 LSA), but for race gas and a 2.6", I'm think a 115-117 LSA should suffice.

Get used to it. It is something that just needs to be done. When we installed the patriot ported head on my friends 2.2L Ion, we must have taken the valve cover off over 30 times
