Spark plug gap

hey guys quick question, ive been running the ngk v power plugs in my car and it has recently been misfiring every so often. they are gapped at .034 i am going to order the same ngk plugs from zzp and try gapping them at .035. my car is byt tuned and i was wondering if changing the gap size ever so slightly will throw the afr's off? also the ngk v power plugs on zzp's website are the bkr7e correct? or do i have to specify that there for a lsj?

thanks everyone

And those plugs are the right ones, just play with your gap until you find what your car seems to like most. It will vary a little from car to car. Don't be afraid to try going a little smaller on gap if that's what it needs either.

ive been using the ngk v power plugs bkr7e for the last 15,000 miles and they worked great up until recently. it says on zzp's website that iridiums cannot be gapped

Zzp is wrong lol. You can't use a gapper tool to gap them. But u can check gappage with a tool. And gap with needle nose pliers. Copper plugs are fine but they will misfire a lot more then iridium.

This.

I've gapped my iridium plugs a few times w/o issue. Just take your time.
