Spark plug question?

Hey guys, grabbed some plugs for my 06 Cobalt SS/SC from the dealer...Part number is 41-106(AC DELCO) and 12610767 on the plug itself. From what I have read on here it doesn't sound like I have the right plugs? Anyone know whether or not those are good numbers and if so what is the proper gap on them? Thanks

Yes, the stock plugs are the best ones to use with GMS2.

I am an owner of HP tuners, with. 2.8 and 60s, and I've been researching before doing this myself. My question is, on a custom tune, is it worth going stage 1 or 2 colder plugs, or stick with oem ones. I've heard some back and forth talks but nothing definitive. Thoughts?

I run the stock plugs with my GMR Stage 3 & H62 setup.....

Lots of people sware by the 1-step colder ngk copper plugs. I've tried 1-step colder plugs, and my car did not like them.

I've had no issues with running the stock heat range plug.

here's a question.. I've been running the NGK Step 2 cold plugs with supporting mods: TVS blower with 2.8" pulley, 80* injectors, 3" intake, LS4 TB, BadMab Header, ZZP 2.5 catless DP, and meth injection system using a 7gph nozzle.

These plugs don't seem to be burning well and my buddy told me to use the NGK V-Powers. What you guys think about this? I'm also going to be upgrading to 2.6" possibly even a 2.5" pulley and a 10gph nozzle soon.

im running v-power step 1 on the factory tune still, and my car loves em. the stock plugs on my 06 were NGK but not v-power. i believe the previous owner wasnt using the correct octane so it def needed new plugs, alot of build up. either stick with stock or step 1. which ever the car likes better. i was experiencing a small misfire at WOT sometimes on the stock plugs, after i replaced them i havent had the issue again

NGK BKR7E's gapped at .32 will suffice for 90% of this site with Supercharged cars...

I ran them at that gap from a 2.85" pulley to a 2.7" pulley with meth as well.

all you needed was a new set gapped a little tighter

It's hit or miss with our cars.

My car hates copper plugs.

Test them out though, and see how they work for ya.

You guys know that v-powers are just standard cobber plugs with a notch filed in the copper electrode. They should work exactly the same as standard copper.
