spark plugs

for a 2.8 pulley sould i run 2 step colder or 1 set and what pran NGK V Power spark plugs or NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs

with my 2.85, I ran one step colder, NGK copper with a gap of .036 ......ran like a champ

you'll need to test different gaps to see what your car likes best. Not suppose to gap iridiums, but it can be done if your careful. Don't know much about the V's.

so dont get the NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs get the other and mess wit the gap correct

what about for a 2.9 pulley what would the gap be around for that and if the gap not a 100% it can misfire correct.

Best to use a copper core plug. Does not matter what heat range you're using copper
dissapates heat faster than harder metals like iridium or platinum. Won't last as long
(copper plugs, the electrodes and ground straps are not coated or hardened) that for sure but you can gap them to what ever you want. .035 is nice to prevent "spark or
flame" blow out, seen in higher boost situations seen with smaller pullies.

+1 for ngk bkr7e's gapped anywhere from .035 to .040 depending on the application.
