brk7e = one step colder plugs for 42.5lb injectors and pulley to 2.8

spark plugs are spark plugs, your not gonna see any difference in a the quater mile from changing spark plugs.. yes the iridiums i bet will last longer, depends on how much your beating on that engine. if they last 60k great or even 40k.. 15 bucks isnt that bad to replace them

Forget what metal the spark plug utilizes, it's the quality of the plug itself. You won't gain any time in the quarter mile with a set of good plugs, but you WILL lose time (And potential harm your engine) if you don't make the right selection of type, heat range, and gap size.

Yes it matters. Get the ZEX part number 82003-4 plugs. No need to gap them.
I run them and they are great. Check the sig.

gonna have to agree here too.

arent zex those 3 pronged lookin things?

If you do a little reading youll find that multi spark plugs arent suggested for F/I applications.

i run a 2.8 and 60's.
i had my car in for a dyno tuning session, when the pos NGK coppers died, and my car was misfiring and running rough only above 5k rpm. too bad the tuner didnt notice it on the dyno. he took out 5 deg timing to make the knock go away. i went back to .028 iridiums on advice form the tuner, and just the plugs woke the car right up, and misfires went away. i used coppers before (gapped at .030) because TAG in toronto recommended them and send me 4. they lasted 2 tanks of gas. maybe it was the 25 dyno runs that cooked them too.
personally, i think 28 is too low.
p.s. of coarse the dyno tuner is far too busy to fix my de-tuned car.... bah.

I have run both in my car.

The NGKs were good to me for about a year and then they ran like crap.
I have no gripes with them, they treated me well.

I run the ZEX plugs now. I even tuned with them. They are great plugs with no issues.
I want to see if they last a year like the NGKs.
