Spark Plugs! Help!

I just need some opinions one what spark plugs to get and what gap to set them at. I have a '06 SS/SC with the stage 2 and gmpp exhaust. I was looking at the NGK Spark Plugs BKR7e but I wasnt sure if anyone recommended any different ones or not. Thanks a lot!

If you aren't having any issues just leave the stock one in.

I tried the BKR7E and the Iridiums with major dead spots with different gaps from .35 to .40. When I took either plug out they were the perfect example of what a plug looks like when it is to cold.

I myself got rin of my minor issues by replacing my plugs with a fresh OEM NGK set.

I was just wondering why we are supposed to run 1 stage colder plugs. I figured it would be better than the stock plugs. What is the stock plugs gapped at? 0.045?

Stock gap is .040, the information that states .045 is wrong

.035" is a good gap but the manual states .042" and when the stock plugs from the factory are checked they are .040" so it gets confusing.

Personally I have the ZEX plugs gapped the way they came and they work very well.

My mods are in my sig, and the NGK's were the cause of my running badly. They were gapped at .040 and when i pulled them out they were hot white. Detonation for sure. I have the stock plugs back in for now, and they are gapped at .036. Much better thus far.

I think it was detonation, which caused the car to pull timing. The car would pull, then sputter, and just plain ran like ****. I pulled the plugs and the electrodes were quite white which is abnormal.

Sethalen, I know about the plug posts. I've been here a while. I have done my homework, and obviously it doesn't work in my case. My car is always different it seems compared to others.

When I pulled the iridiums because of the detonation, they were really white. Up here they cost me $75 for the set....down the toilet.
