ok use to my 3rd gear went to at least 117-120. now it only goes to about 100 or so since my turbo swap. but the swap shouldnt effect anything should it. i mean top speed in each gear is in conjunction with the gear ratio right? is my speedo just slow to read everything? i know our tach can be sometimes. anyways thanks guys.

by the way on a 57 trim im getting full spool by 3800-4000 and pulls like a ****. had to let some air out the tires but it helped with grip a bit.

 

it wont mean poop. has your rev limit changed at all? 100mph in 3rd is 6500 rpm's. i shift at 7250rpms and go to about 111-114 i think. maybe when you got tuned your tuner changed the rev limit? different size tires could make a differen ( i mean the height/ sidewall, not the width of the tire.)

 

3rd gear does not go to 117MPH, with a 7K RPM rev limiter it stops at like 105MPH. Id say your speedo was off before and now its working fine.

 

when my car was down for 2 mon for my turbo build the car felt completely different in every way but really it was just cause i hadent drivin it for 2 mon...

 

yeah i think that could be my problem also.i havent driven the car since may when i deployed to iraq so i guess im getting used to it. i came home and just starting putting the turbo on before even driving it while it was still sc. but i do know its faster than any sc I'VE been in. its definitely a beast. i cant wait for the engine build, vulcan intake mani and turbo mani, and a gt35r. its gonna be beast mode next summer lol.
