First mod pretty much everyone does is the stage 2 kit (or aftermarket equivalent); if you did exhaust you'd get about 15-20 but with the stage 2 you should get around 35-40 or more if it's a custom tune. You could go ***** out and do a stage 2+ which is 60's + lower pulley + tune; to jump more it's really up to you. But you really need cooling mods for the 60's setup.

btw my warranty is already voided so anythings up for mods just try and give me a price range for the mods

Better? They can be the same if someone just flashes the gm canned tune to your car, but usually they make it leaner to increase horsepower and smooth out your powerband...so...aftermarket if it's done right.

You still don't have a V4 lol.

Seriously thou , custom tuned kit's will produce more power than the conservatively tuned GM stage kit's . GM had to worry about keeping the motors together for the entire powertrain warranty (5/60k for 05-06's, 5/100k for 07's). Aftermarket companys don't have that worry.

EDIT: I just saw you don't have a warranty ..... I would piece one together , then get tuned by a good tuner.

Since you warrant is done I recommend not going with stage 2, its kind of a waste of money. I would grab a 2.8inch pulley, 60lbers, tune, heat exchanger, and meth. Depending on how much you pay for the tune, it should be within budget.

If you're not going to do meth, best to keep it at 2.9 with cooling mods.

v4 = I4 , inline not a v config.

I wouldn't peice together a warranty lol, i ment a stage kit . Make your own with 60's and a 2.8 .
