Spike in KR...

I got my interceptor set up correctly today, and I was watching the knock retard setting, and I noticed that when I am starting from a stop, or when I shift into second and the RPMs get low I get a spike in KR for a half second. Basically, its when the car starts to have a load at low RPMs that it spikes from what I can see. I thought this might be normal, since it only happens when theres new load on the engine at low RPM, but I wanted to make sure. Anyone know if this is normal?

Thanks

A couple of degree spike is normal...or at least it happens to me and I have read others have as well. It should happen taking off from a standstill as well.
