Ive seen charts that show even a 2.25" isn't performance robbing... Hell the GMPP exhaust is 2.25

I would first get some powell rotated mounts... best mod I spent money on was my stage 1 kit. While it wont add power, it makes the car behave much better on launches and makes the car much more "drivable"... Then a used 3" downpipe and a badmab is a good start for good money (I spent ~ $300 for that setup). (Welcome to Bad News Racing) has sales for the header at $155 sometimes. I prefer this currently to the LT since it is "Like stock" so replacing the downpipe wont be an issue if it comes to that. The longtube is a good piece, but at the time, I had a leaking DP and didn't have the $600 to shell out for the LT, I don't regret my decision its a decent quality piece.

Then I would work on finding someone who can tune for you and get injectors/smaller pulley + Tune

IMO the "cooling mods" (option B, H/E, etc) aren't worth it until you are past the point of reason (TVS, full exhaust, Meth/alky, etc) especially on a drag car that will be seeing short bursts of WOT.

first thing you need to do is go dyno your car. then you can see the progress you make as you mod.

tried looking up prices on the mounts couldnt find them. as far as the bad-mab vs the LT just thinking of going with the mid instead get the best of both. 2.5 DP. do you think upgrading to the 3" cat back exhaust would still be good or should i go with the 2.5 instead?

Agree with the majority here that your better off getting 2.5" dp/catback instead of 3". its a quarter inch bigger than stock and still provides enough restriction. The ZZP 2.5" catback is outstanding along with the 2.5" highflow catted dp they have. As for header, I would go with badmab.
And if you plan on getting in the 275-300hp range your gunna need rotated mounts and possibly motor mount as well. The option B is a good idea, as well as the s3 heat exchanger from zzp.
Good to see your buying from reputable vendors and not cheaping out

Vlave springs wont matter for HP. some people say 7-7.2K on stock parts. but if you go with bigger cams you NEED springs.

That's usually the route we go on our hot rods at the house don't change the springs until you get bigger cam don't get bigger cam until you get better pistons etc.
