neither add power. They are used as tuning tools. They both help increase octane while suppressing detonation and add some cooling. The allow for more aggressive tuning at safer lvls which is where the power increase comes from. E85 you tune for and have to have available in your area which may or may not be an inconvenience. Meth you have to buy a kit and have it installed and tuned for. Meth will cool your air intake temps much more significantly but you have to monitor it so you dont run out...ie just don't be lazy. I run 100% meth while others on here do not....why I don't really know.

Figured it was time to update this a little. Since this post I've had some UPS and downs. Got a divorce a few months after the last post and spent 13k fighting for custody of my daughter. Hence the reason why a majority of my power mods haven't been added. However, I still have managed to get what I can. A month ago I was driving my car after putting the brand new bumper on only to put it in gear at a red light and dump the clutch and voila squints is upgrading the clutch. So the list has been updated with Gm upgraded clutch kit along with 2 brand new aftermarket axles. Did all the work myself. PITA!!!! but I'm a car guy so it was still fun

So far I have custody I have the final to go through but expectations are high. I've been on here since then just mainly been doing appearance mods on the inside. Put in a touchscreen dvd player, headrest screens, redid my leds in my switches cuz i keep selling mine to locals everytime I drive to a meet. Other than that hmmmmm purchased a jl audio w7 with amp for 300 and panted my dash trim black

 

Well guys figured i'd give an update on things. Since January I've won custody of my daughter, got a new job making double my salary, and now will be buying this list finally. still have some other projects going on. I recently bought the new engine for my 03 dodge so that will be running when it comes in on the 8th of September.

 

Man oh Man what a year it has been. So the recent purchases have been an OTTP STS, and an OTTP CAI. Next purchase will more likely be my stage kit or Heat exchanger.

 

Well I continue to buy the little **** instead of the big stuff. Bought a CAI and a 3 gauge A pillar, and a 2.9 pulley. Now the only thing to finish the stage kit is the stage 2 belt and injectors really.

 

What axles did you end up going with and from where? I'm starting to hear a clicking in one of mine so I might end up being something I need to take care of down the road.
