WOW, instead of being a dick to everyone, learn to drive. Like an0malous said, he even has a VIDEO about the subject. You know a VIDEO for people who dont read so well, aka you.... Its like a moving picture book.... Anyway, if you shift at 3 grand or so when you normally drive, your slipping clutch will go away. Its weird the car likes the abuse in a way. So instead of arguing, look at what people are saying. Stock clutch is harder to drive, and has its own personality, however **** it at 3k during normal driving and it will firm back up.

Or just be mad at everyone and maintain ur lack of ability to operate your own car.

I am a Auto Tech, I could drive my own car.

irons1n i dont think being a tech has that much affect on your driving ability. im not saying you are a shitty driver, just saying just because you have knowledge on how to fix cars doesnt automatically mean you have the knowledge to drive them "correctly"

ok, here's the deal. if the clutch slips in the MIDDLE of a gear, then it's a bad clutch. if it slips when you're shifting gears, it's a bad driver. end of story. learn to drive better, stop blaming the car.

if the clutch slips in the middle of the gear....
it just means the bad driver has been ruining the clutch for a long period of time

i quess i should mention that im talking about being on a 10.50 in drag radial as well as a 50 shot as stated in my sig... but i know its my fault for not mentioning that, now i got alot of bashing that its "driver error" when i said i am a mechanic i was'nt trying to say i know everything. i was trying to say that i know how to drive a manuel trans i've driven lots of high end cars and lots and lots of pieces of ***** and my own 500hp 383 74 camaro... but none the less my clutch slips on the 2-3 shift on the 1-2 its sounds like the stock axels are gonna go it "barks" em so hard but on the 2-3 the revs stay high for a milisec after the shift and i know the tires are not spinning... a exedy stage 1 is probaly 1 1/2 times stronger. GM couldent spend a few more pennies...

if it grabbed and then hit "power band" and clutch slips but no...

It seems people who shift at 3-3.5k during normal driving dont seem to have much of a slipping issue if any. Cars that are not made to powershift shouldnt be powershifted, I thought that was common sense?? If your going to beat on your car and power shift dont bitch about it when stuff breaks or dosen't work properly. I agree our clutch may not be the greatest out there but I have yet to have any problems with mine.

Maybe then SS can stand for "smoother shifts"
its called POWERSHIFTING...ecm holds the boost between shifts so u dont have to re-build boost again, but the clutch doesnt and it will **** up after some time..its commin sense

i have driven my car from 14k to 26k on the stock clutch..shifting like people say 3k-3.5 during normal driving and my clutch was crapped...i actually went 2 weeks without beating on the car and shifting at 3k or so,and i tryed to floor 2nd gear after the 2 weeks and boom clutch slips

and have a stock car..its defrent when u have mods and stock...i had no problem with the clutch until i got s2,and then it was all downhill from there

if your clutch slips in NORMAL driving conditions it's because YOU beat on it. it's pretty obvious that you have if you're running 13's and if so, the clutch wasn't built for that kind of abuse. all and all it is YOUR driving style. if it's such a problem, go and spend some of that mod money on an aftermarket clutch.

doesnt slip in normal driving..and never did,it just slipps when u get on it...during normal driving it is perfectly fine, even when u take it up to 5k and shift to next gear its fine, until u take it to redline and shift to next gear fast, thats when it slips..

and btw i got a excedy twin disc installed,so im not worryed bout slippin until i reach 400hp
