Angry ss/sc help problem!!!!!!

when i try to get on (50% to100% throttle)my car in second gear at high rpm(4200-6000)rpms it starts to spunder and surge. i called my buddy who tunes my car and we found out that im leaning out up top.so we tried richening up the top end didn't work still does it so we added even more fuel and it didn't work. we think i have a
1.clogged injector
2. clogged fuel filter
3.blow-by-god (i hope not)

im going to be doing a compression test sometime this week. are there any thoughts

*** before we hooked hptuner i checked my plugs think it was an electrical problem but they were fine

How'd you figure out you were leaning out? Plugs, coil packs and maf will all cause studdering up top and under boost. Of course so will the things you mentioned. Sounds like you're on the right track.

First give them a visual inspection to make sure none are bloated, and there are no cracks in the boot at the bottom. When that checks out pull a coil pack, keep it plugged in, throw a plug in it, ground the tip and have a friend turn the car over. You should be able to see it. SS/SC's aren't known for finicky coil packs but it's a possibility, with your car being an 05 I'd check it out. But coil packs won't cause a lean condition. I'd keep trouble shooting the fuel system first in your situation though.

Was your tune adjusted for the meth injection being removed?

It sounds like you're getting good advice from your friend so far, keep on the fuel system until you rule it out and then look at the MAF if that doesn't cure your ills.

like 2 weeks ago I was having like a surge or a sputter I could feel from 5K to 7K at WOT. I put new plugs in and it runs great again. The BKR7E's really don't last to long.

not 100% sure if you need new ones the 60s are fine if you can deal with the studder...but if not then try an find bigger injectors...i have no clue who makes them bout i think...not 100%sure but i think there like 70 or 80# injectors but ask around about that tho

I think you might need a new tuner that knows how to tune a correct injector offset table or workable PE enabling qualifiers.

If your injectors are failing you'll notice a sharp lean bump on the narrowband on your scan log during wide open throttle if one is clogged or is shot, or a really dark spark plug if its stuck open.

If a coil is bad, you'll get a misfire usually as soon as you crack the throttle that you'll feel even when not wide open.

I quoted the guy above you about the tuner.

I think SJSchafer has a thread about tuning injector offsets.

Make sure your fuel rail is tightly bolted down. Last time I had the rail out I screwed the bolts in, but did not tighten as soon as I went above 50% car sputtered and lost power.
