IMO on a stock Cobalt\Redline with the stage kits I think we will see around 245 to 250whp. Now the stage kits with a 2.8 pulley, I, H, E knowing GM I think we will see close to 280-290whp numbers. When I bought the GM Supercharger kit for my 01 Cavalier it was rated 190 hp and 200trq crank. My first dyno with only the S\C kit was 191whp with 197trq. So I have have high hopes for the GM kits.

I really hope that gm performance will notice that we dont really apreciate the fact that a cel come on with any mods on our ss/sc. I want to put the stage 2 kit with the k&n typhoon ,magnaflow exhaust and headers but before that, i'm gonna make sure that the CEL will not light on cause my car is brand new and a damn CEL is not an option....Later

 

Just talk to a guy who works for GM and it looks like there are going to be 2 seperate PCM Reflashes! One for stage 1 and one for 2. I pray you can buy Stage 1 and buy only the stage 2 reflash by part #.

 

There wont, there will be 1 reflash for both stages. This comes per GM engineer at GM not some guy that works for GM. This has been gone over numorous times please dont start rumors from people who dont know wtf they're talking about.

 

I'm not starting a rumor and until the kit comes out I can post what I hear. Four or five years ago a GM engineer at GM told me that my Cavalier Supercharger that was due out anyday was an M62 intercooled! So until the kits come out I would not be to sure what they include.
