stage 1 SC upgrade.

im looking at getting the stage 1 SC upgrade kit from GM,( http://gmperformancepartszone.com/st...Path=8_548_145 ) how much time in labor are you looking at? cause ofcourse i want the dealer to do it so i keep my warranty on the vehicle.

kk then how much in labor for stage 2? and ill need a tune too im sure.

and where can i order a stage 2 for a good price?

some people on here might sell it. as for labor when I was reseaching this I thought I saw people say like 80-90 bucks for like 2.3 hours of work...but my memory might fail me lol.

cost me like 230 on install, and yes save up for the gms2. you will not need to get it tuned as it will come with a pcm recalibration code.

Stage 2 (just like stage 1) comes with a tune.

You MUST buy it from the dealership, www.crateenginedepot.com or another certified website in order to keep any warranty.

If you buy it from a private person, it most likely does not come with a tune.

Go OTTPerformance and buy the stage 1 from them thays better than the stage 2 from GM give you more power, and the send you a new computer with the tune

Your warranty will still be fine unless something that youve put on causes malfunction of a certain part on your engine and it can be proven what you did to it caused the problem. IMO go with a custom kit and custom tune, youll be happier and itll probably be cheaper

yea i was gunna just get the stage 2, but for right now im gunna hit the stage 1 upgrade and an intake, its gunna cost me an Extra 225 in the long run if i eventually get the stage 2, but im ok with that
