Stage 2 = Not worth it.
The retaining of the factory warranty alone makes a $550 S2 from CED more than worth it. You're on your own if something breaks with a custom setup. If that doesn't matter to you, by all means go with custom. There's more power to be had and it can be done for cheaper than trying to muck with modding and keeping the S2 parts at the same time.
Not that I advocate dealer fraud, but can they detect if the PCM has been removed or swapped with another? I see buying an aftermarket PCM and doing a little swappage getting around this reflash limitation pretty quick. I hope for their sake GM thought of that.

i had stage 2 n then sold it and went with 60#'s, 2,8, and a heat exchanger. pretty big difference. stage 2 was fun but not very fast. i wouldnt waste my money on 42#'s just get 60's so u can always upgrade
would you like me to shoot you now or later? your car hates you... and your proly lucky to make 200hp at those temps... some people are
you should check to make sure your aftercooler pump is working, i had one fail the car felt sluggish and my iat2's went through the roof like that, it melted my cat and a piston.
