Summit mufflers.

Has anyone tried the Summit brand turbo mufflers? You need a center offset muffler correct?I have a Header/Dp and I'm trying to be cheap on a muffler / resonator. Whats the cheapest muffler that will sound decent? No canister mufflers btw.

Go with the polished summit muffler, its what i run after my cutout. Its quieter than stock but it flows great! http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

You need a center inlet/outlet BTW

So sounds good?I'm going to be running a Vibrant Hdr/Dp with a gutted cat until it is replaced.I'm looking at the Summit turbo and a magnaflow resonator. I don't want it to be that much louder than stock. It also needs to be a "turbo" muffler correct?

I ran it with a pacesetter header 3 inch catless dp, and two 3 inch 24 inch long glasspacks, it was quieter than stock untill i opened the cutout.

Searching around I see most people use an offset inlet and center outlet.. Is that correct?

I made 3 diffrent setups for my car and used center in/out for all and they all fit perfectly. The pipe over the rear axle points straight at the opening in the bumper i dont see how a center in/ofset out would work.

Whats the diff between the ceramic packing in the summit muffler that you posted and a "turbo" muffler? Both single chambered?

Plus you need a tip with that muffler so that's at least 20 bucks shipped.
