I have a Gm stage two at my house. i also have a 2.79 pulley. i was going to have both installed but after doing some research i found its really hit or miss with out a tune. so being in alaska and not knowing how to tune and no one around to tune im thinking of scratching the 2.79 until i leave alaska. im wondering if the stage 2 will support my other mods until i get a tune i am getting the zzp header and down pipe and the ark cat back. i have a injen cai also a ca heatexchanger and a dual pass intercooler plate kit and one step colder pugs there all waiting to be put on i just really dont want to blow my car up.

if i get a 2.9 can i run my stage two and all my mods and still be reliable

 

yes sir...people are running 2.9's on a stg 2 tune just fine...but i wouldnt go any smaller than that!

 

im gonna say you should be fine most support mods wont need a tune and if it does lean out your engine a little bit as long as you have stage 2 reflash your good since GM put a relatively conservative tune on it
