Stage 2?

Do I need to have stage 1 before stage 2 or can I go straight to stage 2?

Straight to Stage 2. The upgrade from 1-2 was just put out there for people who already had the Stage 1.

CED is a sponsor here but I am also a GM dealer so I wouldn't mind helping you out. Feel free to PM me.

I'm supposed to race my buddies Mustang GT from a roll but I'm not sure if I can beat him without upgrading to stage 2. As soon as I get the extra cash I plan to upgrade.

anybody think i have a chance stock??

what year is it? 1999-2004 mustang GTs have the PI heads with 260 to the crank and weigh about 3400 lbs. 1996-1998 GTs have 215 hp and weigh about 3300 lbs. those races would depend on the driver. The 05+ GTs are going to be tricky, they have 300 hp and with mild bolt-ons can run low to mid 13s. 05+ you will need stg2. 96-98 you should win stock. 99-04 you can win stock if the driver sucks.

You'll definitely need the Stage 2 then.

ummm no you don't. I have a friend with an 03 GT with some bolt ons. I have a stock SS/SC with intake and exhaust only. I still pull on him everytime.

If he is stock and you go from a roll you should win with a stock SS/SC.

See my sig. on what a GM stage 2 SS/SC can do with proper driving technique in less than ideal racing conditions.
