so my friends have talked me into going down a size on my blower. i have 97,000 miles and is wanting to know if i can go with a 2.9 and get away with no cooling mods and use my stock injectors??

Do not go smaller than a stock pulley. I would invest in some injectors and a tune before messing around with a pulley.

Yes we can tune you but honestly on the stock injectors and a 7k redline your injectors hate you.

 

What about the ottp stage 1? Would it be ok? Depending on how court goes I was going to look at buying it.

 

OTTP Stage 1 is incredibly cheap. I might get it soon as well. Finally got my downpipe issue worked out.

Stock redline is 7k? I'm curious why my Stage 2 cuts out at 7k, not bouncing off redline, straight cuts out. Why?

last night in stock pulley i hit 14

 

the cut out you feel is the rev limiter.

i hope your kidding .... the stock redline/rev limiter on the ss/sc is 6500rpm.
