Stage 2 belt?

Just curious when you all changed to a shorter belt? I installed the ZZP 3.0 pulley about a month ago and I'm only hitting 11psi at wot. I can hear my belt chirping at idle on cold starts so leaning towards belt slip. Also anyone have one?

Sounds like belt slip to me. You can either get a stage 2 belt or a larger idler pulley. Larger idler pulley is cheaper. Send Lsjwannabe a PM.

Yeah most of the guys on J-body.org arent having belt slip issues either. Just makes the most sense and the chirp is a good determining factor.

I have one coming from OTT that should be here in the next few days. If you want to wait I can see what the measurement is on the package. If its there that is lol.

Well since I'm having belt slip issues its hard to say really, but from what I can tell. The car goes straight to 10 psi now and was only doing 7 before and the blower wine is ALOT louder

From stock to 2.8 pulley and 60lb injectors and even with a base tune it feels like a new car.
