Stage 2 or custom kit

As my car sits it has a little over 8000 miles on it. If it was your car would you keep the warrenty and go stage 2. Or would you get 60#, 2.8 pulley, H/E, HP tuners and void warrenty?

Custom FTW. As long as the tune is good, you shouldn't have a problem anyways.

I went with stage 2 right off the bat and in about a month or 2 upgraded. I would say make your own kit save you some $$ and see bigger gains than stage 2.

If i did a custom kit it would be

Nates 2.8 pulley
stage 2 hub
stage 2 belt
60# injectors
hptune by someone local

would that be pretty safe?

I would suggest going with my complete MPS instead of the Stage 2 hub and pulley. If you really want the stage 2 style, that's fine but my 5-bolt style is lighter and can support a smaller pulley should decide to go further in the future.

I did both.... I bought GM stg2, then went and got a tune... so If there was ever a problem, I could flash back to the GM tune and go to the dealer...

zzp's is cheap...if you deduct the core charge an send them yours to get reflashed...after everything your only paying like 500 for a full stage 2
