Stage 2 dyno (crappy)

Well i finally dynoed the cobalt for fun, it didnt do well at all. I dont know how you guys are making the numbers around here. I made 224hp 209tq with

injen cai
gm stage 2 15psi
gmpp catback

A/f was a solid 11.5, i did my pulls in 4th gear all the way to 6500

I made the pulls in 4th gear from 4k to 6500(7k took forever and didnt do much more). What do you guys think? Did I pull in wrong gear, is there anything i should look for. I attached the graph. Seems odd since people are posting 215 all the way to 230 bone stock and i cant get that with mods. Help

unfortunatley no, but there is enough data here to get an idea of my gains, i would think? Some advice i got is that my gmpp is kinda crappy for the stage 2

hey where do u get dynod? I just got my stage 2 installed and also got 1 step cooler plugs from the last time I dynod.. and I hit like 214 on a mustang dyno with just a cai which is quite a bit underrated from a dyno jet reading which would prolly put me in the high 220's and I got like 209 tq also.. so Ill go down there sumtime and see how my car does there just to see if its the car or soemthing

yea my guess is I should be pretty close to that on a dyno jet with the stage 2 and cai since I wasnt too bad b4 on te mustang dyno when pretty much stock and running alittle rich with the wrong plugs at that time-

it was barely moving once it was up that high, i know it goes to 7k but i dont think there is 20 missing hp at the top...or is there? I will spin it to 7 next time but i doubt thats the issue.

These might be dumb questions but what was the temperature and humidity the day of the pull's . How about elevation?

I don't know if not running it to 7k is causing your low numbers but my stock balt hit 215 at 6350, but only 200 at 500rpm less. So it is a possibility since the hp curves are so linear.

You need to do the pull all the way up to 7000rpms. The car builds power all the way to redline. Don't feel bad as my 2.8 with Stage 2 intake and exhaust faired only 214whp and 190ish torque on a Mustang Dyno. The torque curve was insane though with 155 ft lbs at 1800rpm. Horsepower sells and torque moves!

With out having a baseline done before stage two, then there really is no way of knowing what the gain was. You shouldve taken it to 7k atleast man, just to see if the car was protecting itself with its piston protection. Eitherway man, good numbers!

ya the more i look into it the more i see i left about 10hp on the table, just hard to believe it makes power all the way to7k, esp fro how slow it revs on the dyno.

Im well aware dynos act differently also, i know this dyno is dead on, considering we were doing a camaro dyno day, not to mention the car in my sig I have done this a few times guys

THanks for all the suggestions, I just wanted to make sure there wasnt something else. I checked my flash as well and i have the latest already. It is what it is, and its correct it seems
