There's a few threads on this already but I payed $250 for the install and flash.
You shouldn't pay anymore than $300. But, I guess different dealers have different prices especially if they feel they are the only ones people are going to come to.

Try going to the chevy dealer in orland park on LeGrange road. The name of the dealership is phillips. I didnt get anything installed there, but they advertise stage kits and the dealership is pretty damn big, I am sure they have done quite a few cobalts and can get you done for cheeper than most others!

some dealers charge more then there normal hourly rate for GMPP intstallations. So $140 may be there rate for that. Here in FL it was $100per hour, however it really shouldn't take someone that knows what there doing more than 2.5-3hrs to complete it. They will most likely have to remove the S/C to change the pulley. Sometimes though, dealers qoute you a high price because they haven't had any experence installing the kit, and have no idea how long it will take. get a qoute somewhere else. I think you can check a saturn dealership as well seeing that the ION REDLINE and The SS are brothers from another Mother.

Paid 160 for install and 550 for the kit itself, keep looking at other dealers.
