Its hard to go around and say that "whatever" isnt that fast. Wait till this summer when more people start to get blower swaps and turbo swaps. Guess "what" wont be that fast anymore.... So why trash talk? Opinion is one thing, but to say you should have spent less and got this.....just isnt right.

the blower swap will lay our 30 whp more then me for 2500...gg

the turbo is the way to go really, but 4000...no thanks.

on and 290 whp will always be fast.... with stage 2's running around high on 14 psi thinking that 235 whp is the be on all end all. oh and warrenty.. i forgot... wait a minute I HAVE WARRENTY, and so do most people who are heavy modders. DONT ASSUME... its a great lesson.

Don't worry about 2.4SS... He is just bitter! Quit flaming people for doing what they want to! STFU and mind your own damn business! I do happen to have one of the dealerships that don't care about mods... but maybe he doesn't have that option!

Congrats on the SII purchase you will enjoy it! And don't mind the others that have nothing better to do than just talk **** to everyone!

I loved my stage 2. But it wasnet enough, sigh...

I did see much beter mileage when I went to Tag's stage 3. 27-28mpg range. I'm geussing because of more power I'm not in it as much, But IDK.

no thats mainly because its designed(the tune that is) more so for your specific car then the canned gm stage 2.

and half hpt newb could do the gm tune themselves. not hard. raise rev limit, remove boost limitations, correct for 42.5 fuel injectors, and mildly tune the fuel... a sunday afternoon at most.

Im not getting into any flame wars here but i just want to point out 2 things:

1. Im assuming what?

2. You are right about 290whp being fast. Compared to the S2's 230. What are you trying to compare your 290hp to? Doesnt that really matter more on if 290hp is fast or not?

your assumtion is that modding your car will void the warrenty.

as for your second, it makes no sense, so we will leave it for know.

your not actually asking a question in relation to anything i can comment on.

and where did i say on here that i was calling you out ? i quoted you, but the assumptions part was in relation to other people, however i guess it can be about you now seeing how you assumed i was reffering to you.

read it again, what am i comparing it too, well didnt you answer your own question... and would it matter more if 290 hp was fast??? HAHAHA what are you smoking, you said it was 2 sentences before.... get to the point sunny

You said 290 hp will always be fast. Thats wrong. Your 290 is fast against 230. My point is that with new stuff coming out 290 will now not be so fast. I don't understand why people (like you) continually bust peoples ***** for buying something that they want? That isnt cool. Then you go on to get shitty and accuse assumption when i didn't do anything.

LOL. Ok im done. You are right about everything. That is what you wanted to hear isnt it? Its not worth arguing over anymore.

As for the feeling of clutch slippage - i had similar issues. But all went away after time. I dont care what anyone says - after the install you need to re-break in your car for the new stuff. Take it easy for the next few hundred miles. The car will work itself out.

i have nothing against you 2.4..i'm just saying that some people may not want anymore than that. how many miles do you have on your car? how much warranty is left. i have like 8500 on mine. i could drive around with stage two for another 28,000 miles or so. and in two and a half years i'll upgrade, and i would rather not have the dealer saying they wont cover it cause i'm still in school and don't have the money to just plop the money out for a new engine or anything

I agree with you, I only have 6,000 miles on my car. Plus stage 2 seems plenty fun to me. So to the people who are being deusches quit post whoring my thread.

Also, I've noticed there are some cocky ************* on here....that is one reason I rarely ever post. I love sitting back and reading and laughing some of the people on here who make ass hats of themselves.

Yeah, I think people need to figure out that not everyone wants to possibly throw your car off the top of a 20 story building for ***** to the wall speed
I am quite happy with a car that still is pretty damn fast, but under warranty
And its pretty F-in fast, I dont care what anyone says

im sorry but are you one to talk? if the tech's u take your car to saw your fuel tabels and the amount of boost you were pushing they would void your warrenty or think you have a blown cat. and as far as modding..as long as they cant prove what modded causing the breakage ur still under warrenty..
but if they find say solid motor mounts or zzp trans axels mount or DSS stage 2 axels bye bye warrenty once again.. not every body buys a new car jus to see how fast they can break it by modding it..they usually like a warrenty with there brand new car.. idk about you but i liek my 100,000 mile warrenty and roadside warrenty to..

Amen. I have my cobalt, and I have a daily driver. Though, going to college I cannot afford for my car to blow an engine, not worth it to me. I believe this track season I will have enough ***** and giggles with my stage 2. My cavy blew up on nitrous, and it had only $18,000 miles on it, I've learnt that sometimes reliability is key.

stay off the boost? that may help ... my driving habit never changed and I saw an increase of slightly more than 2mpg ... went from 26~28 in the city and 33~36 on the highway

I went from 10.3 L/100km , to 11.5 L/100km.........instantly. Going from 38lb per hour injectors to 42lb per hour injectors does.......very obviously, DECREASE your efficiency.
