So , you guys , and soon me, have these added horses so what kind of cars are we looking at to keep up with on the track and/or beat up on?

 

im goin to take a guess and say stage 2 srt4's, evo/sti's in a roll race.

I think a stage 2 SRT is still out of reach. I know someone posted a while ago that they beat one but I think the SRT is still more car than we can handle. A friend of mine with an SRT S2 and 3" Exhaust ran 13.4 I think. Some guys have even gotten them in the 12's with S2 and a couple bolt ons.

 

yeah with other addons....stage 2 v stage 2, no other mods, i think the cobalt will pull the neon.

 

I'm sorry but I don't think so....I think it would be the other way around still.

 

Don't forget, stage 2 isn't really dynoing that well. I think the highest so far was 246 which isn't bad. It's pretty much what GM claimed. But I still don't think an ss stage 2 would pull on a srt4 stage 2.

GM claimed 241 at the flywheel with stg 2, so 246 is still a substantial gain. ~30 peak hp, a more useful powerband, and backed by warranty for under a grand installed? I'll be in that boat soon. (not as soon as I'd like though...saving up for other things too. )

 

If anything, I hope to get the stage 1. Stage 2 is just too much for me.
