Stage 2 Question

Hey guy's not sure if there is a thread explaining this already couldn't find it. So here we go, I am a click away from buying the stage 2 kit for my ss. my question is how small of a pulley can I go before i need to start working about internal work such as springs or heat exchangers. i want more boost like every does on this forum can I go 2.7 or 2.8 without doing those? the car is my DD and i drive 80-100 miles a day so i need reliability and power haha.
thanks!

U will need a dual pass for 3.0 n up for 2.7 and up u will need a zzp stage 3 heat exchanger and/or phenolic spacer. The m62 wont push enough power to require any internal work like pistons/rods and stock head is fine unless u add cams then u will need valve springs and few other things upgraded.

also without doing any cooling mods I wouldnt go lower then 3.1, Im running a 3.06 pulley with dual pass and my IAT2 can still get to like 140 with this current heat wave, also make sure ur H/E pump is working most of them are dead by now unless u have replaced it before.

to make the most of the pulley size the more cooling mods the better. however i'm running a 2.8 with just a ottp heat exchanger and so far no issues, but i can tell the car is much faster feeling on a colder night, so more cooling mods = most effective power

This is the truth, having more cooling then is required for a certain setup is never a waste of money, you never know when u just may need to do multi pulls to smoke some bitches!
