So a buddy of mine is a mechanic at a chevy dealer up here and had his buddy in parts get me a price on stage 2....price was extremely good, but i questioned if it was in stock with all the rumors floating around....WELL, about 5 minutes ago, the parts guy received a call from GM saying the kit was IN STOCK and would arrive in a week and a half if ordered today!!! hmmmmm......what to do....

I just called 3 dealerships they all said it is still back ordered, with no release date.

Do you know if they spoke with GM or just looked it up on their system. I had my friend make sure the parts guy spoke with GM to see if it was in stock, so he called them. Thats why they called to tell him it was in stock. Needless to say, my best friend(the mechanic) was more excited than me since he gets to do the work. $577 was the price i was quoted.

 

They called gm, one guy just sat the phone down he did not put it on hold. I have no idea what is going on. I also have to supply the part # no one has any clue what I am talking about.
