both tranny mounts

then they had to put an updated clamp on the steering rack cuz it had a clunk when I turned right & left.
By the way the rack was a new updated version cuz if you hear a clunk entering a drive way & exiting it it's the steering rack and they only replace it if the owner complains!!!!!!!!!!!

but back to my rant.
this was all replaced under warrant & I have a cai, 2.8 pulley & Ingals TD & they said it was all good so just to show that some dealers are cool as hell & some are dicks!

My Dealer rocks
How were you able to get the chipped rims covered under warranty? I have some scrapes on the edge/lip of two of my rims that I'm dying to have fixed but I dont want to/have the cash to spend to replace them.

I did get the wheel and tire road hazard warranty but I figured it wouldnt be covered.

Also I've noticed a clunkiness to my steering wheel when turning into parking spots... this is a known problem?

Thanks for the help

Any chevrolet dealer should install it without any problems at all. And your warranty shall remain intact. If those ************* try and tell you it will void your warranty, tell them to call GM. Also tell them that they are idiots and you want to speak to the manager. Call other dealers too.

I'll scan a sheet straight from GM's accesories site that was posted on the web by GM in 2005, 2006 and 2007 on the STG 1 &2 upgrades where it states all warranties are intact with GM approved upgrades installed by certified GM dealers!

I will post it or Email it to you when I get my computer up and running as the scanner is installed on my main computer & the bios is fubared, the new chip will be here today

Here is a link of the same page but with 2008 accesories and the 2008 Cobalts are not SC so the STG kits are not on that page but in 2005 & 2006 and 2007 the stage kits were on that page with the same warranty claimer up top!

http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/accessories/

I kept this in my file as last year there were dealers saying the same crap as what you have heard , but any good dealer knows if they install it your warranty is still good.

I have learned to CMA (Cover My Ass) when it comes to warrantys so I also have the dealer invoice where they installed my STG2 just for back up

PM me your Eamil Address & I'll send it to you when my computer is up and running again.

I talked to 5 dealers before I found one that knew what a stage 2 kit was, and had actually installed many of them. No way would I let anyone else touch my car except myself except it only has 13k miles and I have to have the warrenty.
