get the 60lbers, dont worry about warrenty problems, i dont know anyone on here who didnt get something covered bc they didnt have the "gm stage 2 kit in". 60s and a 2.6/2.7/2.8 and front mount (cx racing is awesome) will kick stage2's ass, i have so many people complementing my exhaust sound, and its stock. it has a nice deep little pops to it when letting off the gas. i have an intake and no joke im now getting 36mpg on highway and 32 city NO JOKE, stage 2 i was getting 27 max. true story right there. people are actually like ive never heard an engine like yours, its scares me.. i just got my 60s and 2.6 in last week too, and my car idles 10 times better

best and cheapest way to go from an honest man:

60s - lightningforceperfromance.com $219 (comes w/ harness)

zzp modular pulley system, or whichever you personally like ($100)

cx racing front mount intercooler heat exchanger - $150 (i can help you with any questions you have to set it up, its really really easy man) and this thing looks hot and aggressive, had mine on for a month and couldnt tell you too how many people notice this thing

drop-in intake $40 for filter, or find a used intake on here for cheaper($100ish), or even get an ebay intake($100?), theyre all the same (aem is way overpriced IMO)

find someone on here to set you up with a tune who lives by you, post in your local area page thread forum

youll put out 270+ with a good tune, run low 13s if you know how to drive (i would highly higly recommend some kind of dampner or engine mount) i keep my engoine mount on for the summer only and take it off after that so i dont have to feel the vibration and bumps throughout the rest of the year

canned tunes suck, u would have to send ur pcm in to them.....if ur not worried about warranty u could get their stage 3 and get ur own tune, or if u want warranty get stage 2 and slap a 2.9 on

also as stated above, u could just go 2.7 60's tune done.

I JUST GOT MY CX RACING INSTALLED LAST NIGHT AND TRUE IT DOES LOOK PRETTY GREAT...BUT I WOULDNT SAY IT WAS THAT EASY TO INSTALL. THERE IS ABOUT 1/8 INCH CLERANCE TO "STUFF" THAT THING UP IN THERE WHEN YOU NOTCH THE BUMPER BRACE. IM GOING 2.9 NATE PULLEY ON THE S2 SETUP SO I CAN KEEP MY S2 INJECTORS AND TUNE. IF I WANT ANY MORE AGGRESSIVE IM INVESTED IN INJECTORS, TUNE, AND LESS RELIABILITY..ALL FOR 5-10 MORE HP.

IVE HEARD THAT INGALLS IS USELESS. ANY THOUGHTS ON BEST WAY TO STOP HOP THAT ME, BEING A HOME MECHANIC, CAN INSTALL?

TTR Motor mount. Take about 15 min to install.

TTR Trans mounts 2, but that is a little longer at maybe 45 min...

Both killed my easter bunny front end!

i just went to my gm dealer and just bought the stage2 belt, getting the heat exchanger on is real cake work, but i think anyone really could do it with guidance.

go to your regional forum page on here to find someone by you who has the hptuner software to get a tune

the stock pulley is a B$%@# to get off, youll need a special pulley puller to get it off. if you were in ohio i would swap out your injectors and get your new pulley on and h/e for that matter. any questions man hit me up

it is very benficial to get a new exhaust with this to yield the most gain out the set-up. im just not an exhaust guy and i think my stock one sounds awesome. i know im loosing horsepower but im only at the track a couple times a year and the only cars that can beat me are 6.0 gtos (barely) modded new cobras, evos and sti's, yet i keep up good its no blow out. srt-4s can suck it, ive never ran one and dont really care if i ever do
