Stage 3/AC question?

I just had a quick question for anyone w/ GMPP Stage 3. So everyone knows that the pcm disables AC. But my question is that you know how the fans come on immediately when you turn your ac on. I mean whenever my car is at idle in a line at the bank or something for a while and starts to get hot, I turn the ac on for a little bit just to get the fans to cool the car down.

So with the stage 3 pcm in, when you push the ac button, do the fans still come on, and the ac just stays off? Or do the fans stay off too?

Actually, the operation of the cooling fans in regard to the A/C with OEM or Stage 2 re-flash monitor A/C refigerant pressure and turn on the cooling fans when A/C operating pressue reach a pre-determined pressure. It has nothing to do with pushing the A/C button except that after you push the A/C button and the compressor starts to opeate then the pressure in the A/C system starts to rise.

Check out my earlier post on enabling A/C with GMPP stage 3 at: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/gmpp-stage-3-c-76479/

No, it is not necessary to cycle A/C on and off. This GM system does not cycle the compressor on and off in normal operation.
