16k miles... huh? And your running Stage 2...
Further proof that we need to change the SC oil on a given interval. Imagine what that oil would look like if there was a smaller pulley on there...

Good job with the pics! Very informative!

just a regular manual oil removal pump....bought it i think for $20 and used a smaller flexible tube attached to it since the one that came didnt bend enough to get to the bottom of the gearcase

What tool did you have to use to remove the drain/fill plug with ? Also, am i correct in the pictures that you use the same whole to both remove as well as fill the super chargers oil ? And lastly , how much fluid did it hold , or should it hold ??

sorry lol just threw this up pretty quick...use an allen key to remove the plug on the s/c. not sure of the size, and yes its the drain and fill, just about 2 bottles. basically 7/8 of the second bottle, just fill to the bottom of the plug, when u see oil start flowing out stop adding

I have a question, on the dash when you go through the options that say, mpg, trip a, trip b, coolant temp, miles and temp, oil % etc. When it says oil % is that talking about engine oil, or supercharger oil. And when should you change it.

I just bought the car, and it was in the upper 30 but now it says like 28% oil life remaining. Is this to low or what? I am getting the oil changed monday. If i remember right its 5w30 mobile 1 fully synthetic correct?

Also, should i change my supercharger oil, my car only has 18k miles on it. I don't know when it says in the manual to change it, and im to lazy to check, lol, thanks.

The oil life monitor on the dash refers to the engine oil life itself. The super charger gera oil is seperate from that reading. You are correct on the oil to use , 5w 30 mobile 1 full synthetic , or what ever brand of full synthetic oil you like. I usually change my oil when the monitor gets around the high to mid 40ish percent. It starts lookin dirty around there and i feel compeled to change it !
