GM Stage 2 Pulley - 3.06"
GM Stage 3 Pulley - 2.99"

I would buy one of Nates (Nherbs), www.smoothflowpulleys.com, in a 2.9". I have a 2.9" on the GM tune and it works excellent. Getting a HPT tune would be beneficial but you don't need it. Don't go smaller than 2.9" on 42s though.

stage 3 pulley is 2.99, no you dont need a reflash. just get a 2.9 pulley from nate here. it is like a 1/4 of what the GM pulley weighs; boost is instant and it is only 50 dollars. then if you need to take it to the dealer, a pulley swap takes 5 minutes and they will never know you even did it

Yeah exactly, I would take it off just incase. I took mine in to get the wheels replaced but didn't remove it.

Nates pulleys are super light... and look really nice... I've got one waiting for install this weekend. Just make sure to get the bolts too.

I got the Stage 3 pulley on my car. I'm making 17 psi in the cold weather. I'm glad I went Stage 3 instead, I have no worries taking it to the dealer, they cant tell the difference between the pulleys.

Install isn't bad at all, you'll be fine. You adjust the tensioner to get some slack in there.

Whats a good injector size for a 2.85? If your not supposed to have 42s on a 2.9 then how come cobalt- addiction has this on there website for the stage 2..
Directly from the website

do what you want. you hear people say ohh no don't put a 2.8 inch pulley on with the gm stage2 reflash. while other's have it on and have been running it for a while with no problems just then it starts to lean out past 6,300rpm's and people have proof it's shitting out the injector's and there maxed out. bottom line is you can run a 2.8 inch pulley on the gm stage2 reflash it just might not be that great for you car. my friend and i run the 2.8 on our gm stage2 reflash with no supporting mod's. also a couple other people on here if you do some research run the 2.8 also with just the gm stage2 reflash. do what you want though and whatever you think is right.

I don't kno much about this stuff....

Should I just get a 2.9 Pulley on a stage 2 reflash?? would that be best?
