Might be easier to get a straight answer if you do a break down of what is involved in the kit.

I honestly think that with either of those kits i would consider getting fordged pistons put in cause i could be wrong but it could cause you to throw a ring if you would like try to look at the twinscrew setup by rebel for sale that way you can use your stock internals

if your asking how hard they are, you shouldnt be doing them, do some research and have the job professionally done. jmho.

I honestly believe that going with a 2.5" is just too small. A 2.6" is pushing it, ESPECIALLY without the appropriate cooling mods to compensate for all the heat that the Eaton will be producing.

I agree...I think the kit he inquired about includes those.

Yeah, now that I re-read the 2.5" pulley kit does include that. I still think that pulley is too small. Save the loot and go with pistons, and a turbo or supercharger swap. More efficient, better gains. Tis my opinion, do as you wish though. If you must go with one of those choices though, go 2.6"

i know the prices of these mods, but how muhc would you say a full turbo swap would run me? including all the supporting mods i would need, i always planned on getting a turbocharged car which would have been the evo, or the wrx but financial iussues led me to the SS/sc and i really dont know much about superchargers or what i can even do to my car to gain hp. =/ the only plans iv ever had for this car was intake exhaust and stage 2 which is still a decent amount of money but i really want to go big or go home haha.

also keep in mind that the heat exchanger is non existent. ive been waiting for mine four months now. dont get a ca kit. i would recommend buying all the parts seperately from them. theres bout a 200 fee for there tune. which is a waste of money if you want real power. your better off taking it the money and putting it towards a dyno tune.

If youre getting up into the 1800 or 2000 mark, I would say save the cash, and wait and see how the twinscrew or turbo swaps work out. I personally am just about done power wise on mine until I see how those turn out. Headers is about all I am going to do to the engine, maybe some cooling..

Ditch the inefficient Eaton if you are getting under a 2.9 or 2.8 pulley for power.
